I don't think the video is that bad. I love simplicity. But the emotional connection that the song has is missing from the video. It's just her dancing like she's at the Chicken Strip.
On another note, I guess I'm the only one who sees the 90s R&B/Salt N Pepa type clothing in the video.

Eh, Eh, LoveGame, Poker Face, etc. all at least had mulitiple scenes and things going on.
This video was insufferably bland and uneventful.
And as a stan of Ms. Gaga I want something weird, new, different, strange, boundary breaking, attention grabbing, INTERESTING in a video. This gave me none of that.
Her worst video by far and none of you can deny it.
Lastly, the budget for this video appears to have been less than the budget for Rebecca Black's "Friday" video. Seriously, wtf is that **** coming from the biggest pop star in the world? I'm really mad.

I don't think there's nothing wrong in the simplicity. Those are always fun every now & then (though she just did it with "BTW"). The problem is GaGa built herself on shock value, and now when she's trying to tone down it's a disappointment for viewers.
The little monsters will eat this up, somehow, but I don't know any general personal who'll enjoy watching this video.

After Judas' terrible video and BTW's okay video, I wasn't expecting anything good.
But, LOVED this video. THIS is the Gaga I like. I am not a stan, maybe not even a fan. But I really enjoyed this video. I don't like the over the top **** she is known for, so this video was something I loved. I really loved the instrumental section with her just dancing around. I loved this video, I'm even going to watch it again.
Sometimes less can be more. In the case of this video, it was really true.

This video is obviously about her love for New York. Why make it complicated? New York is going to be where she wants to be on the Edge of Glory (or near death).

What was this?? Like there is a positive thing and a negative one. The positive: she looks fine! seems like this era besides BTW disastrous look she has been looking good! and negative: the video sucks hard. If it wasnt for Judas this era would be a disaster. Like the song stills phenomenal but seriously?
Edit: I think my post was a little much, it doesnt SUCK HARD, but it is very very very boring! And it seems like she just said ok today im gonna do a video and just walk around and kiss the floor... cmon gaga Judas proofed you can still do amazing videos!

Turning out to be the exact opposite, if you can see it. The monsters/hardcore music listeners are hating it but the general are liking it. I have more a general public taste, & I also have an immense love for Gaga, which is probably why I simply just love it
