Video: Robyn: "Call Your Girlfriend"
The Swedish star takes over a warehouse by herself in this captivating clip

Here's how you know someone is a great performer: She can hold your attention completely for three and a half minutes all by herself.
Robyn's new video for the forlorn BNM'ed Body Talk banger "Call Your Girlfriend" is one long unbroken tracking shot of the Swedish pop queen dancing, singing, and looking like her heart is about to break. The only thing she has to keep her company is an elaborate lighting rig. It's a true command performance, a hall-of-fame effort from an artist at the absolute peak of her powers.

Robyn
'Call Your Girlfriend'
"Call Your Girlfriend," the latest single from the Swedish pop star Robyn's excellent album Body Talk, is a heartbreaking dance pop ballad in which she tells you how to break up with your girlfriend because you have fallen in love with her. It's easy to see why that would happen. She is charismatic and compelling enough to carry the entire video just by dancing and lip synching in a wide shot. With most artists, this would get pretty dull, but it's hard to take your eyes off her.
