I dont get why everybody says Waka Waka flopped in Japan, USA, Australia and the UK...
In Japan it had pretty good sales from ringtones and it was Top 10 on the Japan Hot 100 and the Tokyo Hot 100 charts, in Australia it has sold around 65.000 copies, very close to Platinum and still selling. In the USA it has never been out of the itunes top 300 since it was released and its sales are around 1,100,000 (not a smash, but a hit). In the UK its peak was #21, but it had more longevity than some singles by Gaga, Rihanna or Britney which were top 10 but with no longevity, Waka Waka has sold 200,000+ downloads in the UK and its Top 50 on iTunes right now!. Globally Waka Waka is one of the 3 Shak biggest hits, with Whenever Wherever and Hips dont lie.
