But it wasn't just an argument, he raped her. The video started so epic I though it's going to be great, but it was just 4 minutes of Rihanna walking... then running.

I disagree with a few small things (I did think the video was good and it was sexual assault, not just an argument), but I very much agree with everything else.

It was too music video like, and not movie-like enough.

I think the storyline revolved around a vibrant island girl who seemed to be happy and carefree, someone whom everyone seemed to like (the island's answer to the All-American Girl Next Door type image). She went to a night club where we get the reggae and dutty wine vibe of the setting. One guy she was feeling got too touchy and ended up raping her (I assumed they didn't want to get too graphic with it and left the actual rape to the audience's imagination). The rape is what led her to killing him in front of a big crowd. The waterfalls kind of served as her washing herself of the filth she possibly felt was still on her after the rape. It was a nice storyline, but I would have liked them to go a little further with it, but I know she didn't want to get another video banned probably.

With a place as beautiful as Jamaica and this being one of my top 3 favourite songs from LOUD, I was visually expecting something diffferent, beauty shots, landscape, water, major dancing, bikinis, lol, was a lil disappointed. The storyline could have been exploited better by cutting the random scenes. Still love this song a lot.
