"BORN THIS WAY" is DOUBLE PLATINUM IN BRAZIL
The album Born This Way, which was distributed initially in Brazil in a print run of 80,000 copies, 45,000 the special edition and 35,000 regular edition has just won double platinum.

Lojas Americanas showcase in Rio de Janeiro.
In just six days, all 80,000 copies sent to our country were distributed in all stores in Brazil and a source of Universal Music reports that are already about to release the second edition of the album, with the amount has not yet informed.
All this achievement is due thanks to great support of the album through the shops of the country and of course the fans.

The edge is Gaga's best song to date and nothing on the album can come even close to it imo

It's a good song, but I heard it on KIIS today and I noticed how much it suffers from the basic Gaga song problem. The first 2 1/2 minutes are great, but the other half is literally just Gaga repeating "I'm on the edge, the edge, the edge the edge, I'M ON THE EDGE WITH YOU!!!"

Yeah I really like "You & I" until she gets into that "you you and i you you and i you you and i" after the 2nd chorus.

Eh, I think that problem is less obvious in the shortened radio version. The sax solo also helps.

Girl, no similarity there. You and I is fabulous throughout and holds the diversity in the sound. The emotion in her voice, the lyrics and the pacing of the song change throughout.

She always does that. It hurts her songs' commercial appeal. Yes, we get it, baby loves to dance in the dark. You can end the song now.

I don't understand what you mean. the edge x100 is a part of the chorus which repeats only 3 times.
this is the type of the song Gaga needed to perform in front of 100,000 people in a huge stadium. it's just so big

This. This song is one of the biggest songs I have ever heard, and it almost hurts it in a normal sense. On the radio, it sort of just swallows everything else out there, which might not help its case. If only she could perform it at the Super Bowl.

Poker Face is the best example of her dragging a song on and on. The first few times I listened to it, I was like... Oh is this the end?..... nope... Is this the... nope... How about n.... nope... DAMN IT WOMAN.

Lady Gaga isn't exactly the archetypal Super Bowl viewer's cup of tea.

It's not that bad but it feels like forever with the solo that kicks in right after it.
