But there are so many ideas in that video and all I see in that video is my brain throbbing with ideas and I wish I had edited myself a little bit more. It’s funny, though, because I know a lot of kids on the forums didn’t like the Alejandro video, but that was my favourite of all my videos. It’s not busy. But maybe that’s my own monster.”

Gaga has been visiting my head. I feel the same way about these videos. Everyone creamed themselves on Telephone but it was just a big mess of things that didn't go together at all. Like sandwich time, Beyonce wanting to kill her boyfriend for no reason, her and Gaga riding off into the sunset together, a dance break happening after she killed a town full of people, and other various nonsense including her time in jail, bad Americana references, Honey Buns advertisements, etc. The video was a superfluous mess. So I agree with her completely on that front.
As to Alejandro I actually think its one of her best clips because it explores some rather good and gripping social commentary about gay men and women in social society today. Yet it was panned by both her fans and critics alike. It's disappointing because everyone loved Telephone even though it wasn't worthy of half of the praise it received. Anyway in Alejandro, the cuts and uses of Gaga in the shots are very powerful because it shows that women are looked upon in society as instruments for men. You can see that in the way the male dancers fling her across and contort her into various sexual positions.
In regards to music. Telephone is one of her weakest cuts but I think Born This Way and Just Dance are both weaker productions. But I like that Gaga can see her flaws both musically and visually speaking.
