I realize the reviews aren't the best place to provide tech support, but what the heck.
See that link in the upper right corner that says "Your Account"? Click that. Then, click "View Your Digital Orders" in the "orders" section, just to the right of the smiling cardboard box. I'd be willing to bet money that almost EVERYONE who has posted a complaint review will see "Items: Currently being processed" for the Gaga album, like I do.
The one suggestion I can offer is JUST BE PATIENT. So far, since buying the album about an hour ago, I've gone from one track (#7) to two (#6). It's slow, but the cloud player is gradually registering purchases.
Amazon is currently offering one of the year's biggest and most anticipated albums for a dollar. They're promoting this offer on the MP3 front page, through mass e-mails, and the link is being passed through Facebook and Twitter.
Well, it worked. Kind of. There are so many people buying the album that the servers have been brought to their knees. Whenever I buy something from Amazon, I usually get the receipt within a minute of purchase; I still have yet to receive one for this download.
Up until now, I've had no complaints with Amazon's MP3 service - quality is good, and the prices are usually decent to amazing (for some of the daily sales). This is not how the site normally operates. I can understand the frustration, but all I can say is just be patient. It WILL work out in the end, and you WILL get your album.
(A review for the actual album: I'm not a big fan of her stage presence, but Lady Gaga writes and performs catchy, fun pop songs. So far, none of the songs have grabbed me quite like, say, "Bad Romance", but I like what I've heard online so far. You could do much, much worse with that dollar. Buy it, if only so you have instant access to the earworm songs of the year.)
