The only thing that was good in the performances were the standing ovation. Proving she's legend and she gets the praise just for being there (even though the performance sucked)

Be honest guys, the appearance performance was beyond disappointing. The 30 seconds duration is frustrating enough, but to mime on the album version, and not even pre-recorded vocals is just 
And no I'm not living in the past. I loved her Jimmy Kimmel performance even though she basically just hopped and had limited arm movements. Those Me Against the Music at TRL, Slave at VMA, Toxic at ABC.... are never coming back, but at the very least I want to see her trying and putting some effort.
As frustrated I am with her lack of promo, if this is the kind that I'm always gonna see, then she better stay at home and let radio do the work. Cause as a fan, those slamming articles and vicious comments against her are killing me.

This is all that matters. If she just had sung live, the appearances would've been that much better.

She didn't perform her new single, nor was it ever confirmed BRITNEY SPEARS would be performing. No one is rushing to call them cameos either, that's what they were. Britney being added to Nicki's performance was clearly a last-minute thing, randomly being thrown at the end of "Super Bass", Britney wearing a jacket over the dress she wore that night.
It was COMPLETELY unnecessary, since it wasn't going to be a full performance. But stop trying to make it seem like she could've done more with what they did do.

My final thoughts:
Britney did great w/Rihanna. In a sense of having fun, giving off a little presence, and looking good. Bitch should've have had her mic on, though. Would've made the performance seem better than what we got. That's just lazy on her part. The Nicki cameo, I said speaking earlier on MSN, was tacky and even worse that she was just walking and singing over the iTunes m4a copy of "TTWE".
Overall, it was nice for them to plan this. I wish they had planned for her to do her own full performance, though. Since she clearly had the time to do this. IDK if to blame tour rehearsals and not having time to conjure another performance, or if Britney simply wasn't comfortable with taking the stage alone again. (though as we saw, people are still welcoming).
Next stop, the tour.

I can't even pretend to have liked those two performances. She didn't even half way try. At least with Kimmel, MTV and GMA it looked like she had a routine. The only thing I could think of is that she was never supposed to perform and just accepted invites when Nicki and Rihanna asked her to perform with them leading to sloppily planned performances. That literally is the only thing that makes sense.

I'm so happy. I've waited 10 years for Britney to have an awards show like this.
One of the best things about being a Britney fan is her exclusivity. Like everyone else I've always been proud of is the fact that Britney went from duetting with Don Phillip to featuring Madonna herself. But I've always been a little jealous about how all the other celebrities get to work with each other anytime they want to while Britney always remained isolated and carrying a performance on her shoulders alone. It's been great some ways, but no one knows how lonely at the top it is better than Britney.
The worst was when NSYNC had Michael Jackson cameo on their song in the 2001 VMAs. I was like "Who the **** is that?" because back then MJ had been inactive for so long I didn't realize that was the same guy as te one on Thriller. When I made the connection, I was like wow, he just showed up for less than a minute and already it changed the entire performance. It wasn't just that people were going crazy, it was that he wasn't even really involved in the event and yet he would be an instant milestone, and the VMAs realized that when they decided to put him on the lineup.
Now Britney has done the exact same thing and I can't feel more proud. I see a lot of the complaints are about the length of the performances rather than the quality, and I'm like, why doesn't anybody see it the way I do? No, Britney didn't do a full song, but don't you get how this makes it all the more sweeter? Britney is a reference point. To me, this is one step above being an icon. She is the instant recognizable feature in a sea of familiar faces. The fact that the BMAs have relied upon her despite her not doing a full song is testament to me that the way Britney fans feel about our icon is NOT just within our circle, but that it's a legitimate claim.
Whenever she achieves something based on her name alone, or when our Britney-related tweets outlast the other stanbases, we say it's because no one has more power than her. I see tonight as the music industry's way of echoing that sentiment on a professional basis.
So, really, I don't see anything that makes me upset. This is just like how Madonna opened the Grammys with half a performance of Hung Up with the Gorillaz. I think even more highly of her tonight.
Britney, bravo on your performances tonight. Beyonce might have been the heart, but you were the spirit of the Billboard Music Awards.
And Beyonce, you rightfully deserved to steal the show with your performance. Your song is a hot mess, but if this performance was the reason why you chose to make it your first single, I forgive you for unleashing that monstrosity onto the airwaves.

allright...so out of boredom I decided to listen to everything on Femme Fatale...and this album is ****ing good (im not a britney fan at all but damn)...no shade intended but the Robotic britney is hot and her songs are fire...i might just buy this album 0_0
