I haven't heard FHL but i definately think HML will be single, and Americano probably. I think they'll be overly calculated though as i assume they'll want to release the same single everywhere like they've been doing.

Bad Kids is very radio-friendly (minus the swearing*), although it's not everyone's favorite.

Born This Way, TEOG, Marry The Night, and Yoü & I are the only top 40 radio-friendly songs on the album. As much as I love the album, I would be truly shocked if anything else has success there.
Therefore, I say she should release whatever ****ing song she wants and have no fear.
Personally, I'd just love to have music videos for Bloody Mary, Scheiße, Government Hooker, Marry The Night

Hasn't Gaga already said she's planning on releasing like 9 singles from BTW? If she hasn't, and I just heard that from somewhere that made it up, she VERY WELL could release nine. I don't think she could just up and release Bloody Mary or Heavy Metal Lover after TEOG (and it be very well received on radio) but I think she could release Marry the Night and work her way into releasing the more "hardcore" tracks for the general public. Maybe that's been her plan all along: slowly release tracks that redefine (I'll get shade for using that word I'm sure) "Top 40" music? I don't really care about what singles are put out because I love the album (already bought it, so there's no need for me to buy singles) but I was just saying...

Thats why i think it will become a single radio will be more accepting of picking this up rather than the others. But if it was a single it needs to come LATERRRRR ON like being the 3rd single away form the last one released. By this time it will have grown on people

I agree with those being the only radio friendly songs, though i'd add Hair. I think they'll release that next since its sonically similiar to TEOG. Assuming they'll release MTN, the goal would be (reading interscope minds) that Sheibe and Americano become more familiar, thereby allowing them to be the next singles. Gradual acclimation will win radio over.

It's not my fave, but I could imagine it playing on the radio
Most of the song everyone's choosing would be so strange. I love Bloody Mary, but imagine it?

This is what i've been saying all along. BTW is not radio friendly now, but over time it will seek to redefine what radio sounds like.........AGAIN, might i add.

I agree 200%
I also think maybe "Americano" can be on the radio friendly list, its a little rough but its still passable. Gaga has to be on every TV show possible to sell this album because radio alone isnt going to do Scheiße.

I cannot wait to listen to this album. I came here just to read some general opinions from listeners and critics, and they overall seem very positive. The only extremely negative opinions I read were from people who think TF is superior to TFM and BTW ( ), and that is something I'll never agree with from what I've heard so far sooo.....
Anyway, I hope you are all enjoying it (I really did read only about five pages of opinions) and I will report back after listening to it once it goes up for sale!

It'll be like pre- The Fame era all over again. She's gonna have to claw her way onto playlists.
