You guys questioning the single release strategy clearly can't see the forest through the trees. Why would they release the best songs first when she can release "still great" songs that will surely sell the album, which would sale anyways due to hype alone?
Once she's selling consistently, BAM. The singles will get better (subjective) and their sound will continually change so that radio play, interest, and album sales remain consistent for a very long time. Marketing 101.
I predict they'll release Hair next, as it's musically in the same vein as TEOG and BTW. After that they'll probably relese MTN which is so different it's release will essentially be the start of a new era. After that, the more electronic singles will lkely follow, giving radio diversity and steadily acclimating them to the new sound.
