I agree that her former singles (except for The Edge) are a little better than her recent hits. But I think this album will work better as a whole. As much as I love 'The Fame' or 'The Fame Monster', they weren't the concept albums I was hoping for. It looks as though 'Born This Way' will have a consistent theme (identity, being born this way etc.) and that's artistic growth to me.
