Anyone else think it's weird that the length of the video is 5:23

Lol I didn't even see the video before posting this. I just saw Born_This_Way's post and got all excited and jumped on your dicks about recognizing lol. I just saw the video and it's most definitely not the continuation. Oh well...
Honest opinion. For some reason I like the video! Specially the Judas, Jesus scenes!
but overall i though it was messy! Massey because there was way to much going on! To many different dance scenes, to to much imagery. TO much editing, and honestly the dancing wasn't that well executed! And wierd Face scenes. I also feel like gaga has really evolved/changed! She no longer is the futuristic/ artist that she was in the fame era! Now shes more of a dark/imagery artist! idk i cant find the word to describe her!
But for some reason still i like it! but ill wait to see what the longer version has to offer
People criticizing Gaga for making a more normal, dance-heavy video now
The music video was good, that's it, stfu. It looked gorgeous and that's what 99% of music videos are supposed to do. If you really want to comment on the story (which, btw, there probably wouldn't even be one if you were watching a video by a different artist then Gaga) at least wait for the full version
Yeah, this video definitely looks like it was directed by
an amateur video director and a choreographer.
You know what I find hilariously ironic. Stans jumped on my jock because I suggested Gaga NOT do a strictly biblical interpretation of "Judas" and attempt to modernize the idea -- I was basically told to "STFU," and that "of course it's going to take place in biblical times, the name is the song is 'Judas.'" Now, look what we have here... a modern version of a "biblical setting" and those same stans are hyperventilating and saying how it's her best work and ****. Hi-larious.
There are two main flaws with this video:
1. Far too much choreography was shown. Not necessary.
2. Gaga couldn't focus on one concept -- the major problem. I enjoyed the modernization of Jesus and the apostles, but of course, Stefani couldn't help herself but to dawn some Early Imperial Period wardrobe and end with a Gaga-esque style statement while being stoned, which is almost, if not completely, unrelated to what's going on, both in imagery and in concept -- don't worry, I'm sure Gaga will give you a "good reason" for why it is "artistically relevant" for her to resemble the sister of The Grudge, while being stoned... and you'll eat it right up, of course. Being an amateur, Gaga also lacked the ability to create atmosphere within the music video. The sets were large and elaborate, yet, unfortunately, we saw none of it, and, instead, witnessed lots of choreography, close-ups, and slow-motion shots of her walking -- not the best way to spend an alleged ten million dollars. If Gaga focused solely on the modernization, with less choreography shots, it would have made a far more interesting video; she could have even incorporated more of a West Side Story concept as well.
Random thoughts: Great smile in the opening scene. She's hot in that red outfit and that black outfit in the tub. Why does Jesus look like John Leguizamo? And the gun reminded me of the gold gun in the Nintendo 64 game, "Goldeneye 007."

First of all, it's her style and she has the right to do whatever she wants in her videos. Secondly, she's not trying to achieve perfection in this video, all she wants is to convey the message of the song visually.
And of course don't forget that, it's her first time to direct her own music video. I don't know if any of these popstars these days have the guts to do that.
Taylor Swift has been constantly doing that since 2008, maybe they are both copying her?
It's a common hand gesture, the Judas video was finished long before the J Lo video was out. Try again.
I love the video, everyone take your stan shades off for one second.
She starts the video with her riding on a bike with "Jesus"(the good guy). Meanwhile the whole time she keeps seeking "Judas"(The bad guy), she spends the whole time on the bike trying to get a glimpse of Judas, yet she caresses Jesus and is smiling. She is constantly fighting her feelings. I would go much more in depth but I doubt you will read it.
The whole video is about her trying to stand up right, and only have feelings for Jesus(the good guy), she is trying to prove to Jesus that she isnt in love with Judas. Meanwhile Judas is being the rebel that he is. The end of the video shows her getting stones for "betraying" Jesus. She gave in, she couldnt help herself and fell for the wrong guy. She just a a holy fool, but shes still in love with Judas.

First of all, I'm not denying her the right to do whatever she wants in her videos. Secondly, if you choose to direct a video, I'm going to critique your directing. It's very simple. If you put it out there for public consumption, it's fair game. Tale as old as time, Dei. People are just going to have to, as they say, deal with it.
This is easily one of her best videos ever! The visuals are so stunning, the choreography's executed really well and the plot and flow of the video is undeniably amazing! The legendary Bad Romance has finally met its match. Great job, Gaga! Now, Judas is a sure shot to #1.
