By then, Katy's sales will have gone down to the 250K level, while ADELE (I urge everyone to spell her name the way iTunes spells it) will most certainly get enough to boost it over 300K, so it will be very close. Remix and streaming may or may not help Katy's chances at staying at #1.
I'm not too fond of the way Adele is stylized (ADELE). It seems offensive. Plus, I don't like holding shift every time I type her name, but that's just me.
I think ADELE actually might be able to get the #1 spot next week depending on how it increases on Radio...and if KP slows a little bit in AI. The sales are just about there (or at least they will be by sunday given the rate at which it's increasing). I kinda like the ADELE...it stands out. Good promotional tool, eyes will go directly to it when reading a chart full of regular names

E.T. won't slow down in airplay until like maybe three weeks from now. It's going to stay on top of Pop for a couple more weeks since it's S&M that's starting to freefall now, it has yet to reach Top 5 on Rhythmic (which I'm definitely sure it will because of Kanye) and it's a sure bet for #1 on HAC (but ADELE's gonna give her a run for her money.)

**** You came really close, and that was just recently. I'm glad more songs like it and RITD are achieving this much success instead of the whole pop scene being dominated by electropop or teen pop.

I would have to co-sign YM8 and Shield. I'm not really shocked that "Judas" is not taken off so quickly. It's not as good as her previous singles. It's loud and obnoxious, and it's not that catchy. I don't want to call it terrible because I don't think it is, but it's pretty middle-of-the-road for me. We'll see how much promo affects this on the charts.
