I'd like to start by saying that while I am happily straight, I have developed so much respect for the gay community and have involved myself in LGBT politics and debates. I think it is important to promote equality in our communities. This is such an important issue and I don't think it fair that people are prosecuted for trying to live happily with whomever they love.
