Well, this is Gaga. I also know exactly why she's actually doing this. I mean this cover has a lot of lessons in life like: "Do not judge an album with it's cover" or something like that. What I think this album is showing us is that we're on a journey to full freedom and if you want full freedom, you might want to ride with Gaga + join her journey. I actually view this like a political cartoon - it speaks + branches out to a lot of things.

I said that too but at the end of the day nobody can be forced to like something they don't but I still respect what she did because she put her time & energy in it.. so I guess.

Actually, take back the words I said, quoting Gaga on her Google Interview, she mentioned that some interviewers ask more things about what she's wearing, not her music. So, I think what she's doing in here is that she's making people to focus more on her music than album cover. Again, do not judge the album by it's cover because it has a lot of goods inside, you never know.

Every single photoshoot is better than this. Seriously, I love Gaga, but this cover... It has nothing to do with it. I know the album will be epic, the songs will be epic. But... the cover just sucks.

I agree. Nick Knight is a beast, I highly doubt he'd allow himself to be at risk of so much criticism just for the sake of being a bit daring (and it may sound harsh, but aesthetically reckless). It has a nice concept and all with the meaning and all, but when look at the big picture, it just doesn't seem like her team, Nick Knight, or even Gaga would do that.


And to those saying do not judge the album by its cover, I agree. I'm just judging the cover. I know the album's music will be epic beyond words I just wish there was a cover that would match that caliber of amazing.
