releasing a remix is no different than any other type of promotion.

ooo she performed at the grammys - she must want the song to go #1 - UNDESERVING
ooo she had her song featured in a commerical - CHEATING
ooo she had an ad on itunes - MY GOD SOMEONE STOP HER
the only people complaining are just pressed. noone really gives a ****. billboard decides the rules. they are what they are, aren't up for debate, and any artist has the opportunity to take advantage of them.
