I love Martin, but this implies he didn't have a dry spell from 01-05. I actually think Britney was at her most creative when she wasn't with Max. In The Zone and Blackout are probably two of her most artistic albums and neither of them have any shred of Martin on them. There is no doubt that Max and Britney are musical soul-mates but he does seem to creatively stifle her. She doesn't participate as much when he is around, and musically he babies her which is understandable. There is a reason why Martin is called Britney's musical parent back in the 99'-01' days.

She should definitely experiment outside the lines. I wouldn't mind if she came back to him every now and then. He is effective. But every song shouldn't be made by Martin. Britney is at the forefront of pop music and is their stealth avant-gardist. She should keep it fresh at all times.

Now Bitch. Not everyone strives to be a different species. Everyone is unique in their own way. Maybe I like Britney's sense of privacy. But that is a trait I share as well, which is why I respect Britney so much for it. Just because people have similar traits/interests doesn't make them the same because they are different people.

Because she WAS REAL!!!

The bitch wasn't afraid to bust out in an interview with tears. Her unreleased tracks showed vulnerability. She's a trailer park child from Louisiana and I LOVED how she NEVER let Hollywood change her!! She was ALWAYS doing HER thing -- Uggs in the middle of summer, busted extensions...her country accent and down to earth persona. SHE IS REAL. She is a REAL person. She NEVER seemed like a snobby, fake celebrity!

Unlike ANY OTHER artist how there -- Britney has always been REAL and honest with us. Other artists try to tear down their walls and be real with their fans or the public....other artists try to be "original" but Britney in her ripped jeans and Cheetos always was always 100% authentic and REAL!!!

Well I don't blame her. 50 is almost 21 years away. Right now, she is focused on raising her children. It's almost impossible for me to guess what I want to be doing in 21 years. I have a general/basic idea, but in that large span of time, people can change their mind drastically.

I made a Britney + Bloodshy & Avant playlist some weeks ago, and it's my jam now. It's such a rich collection.

It's amazing how vast her talent is, and how songs from 2003 to 2011 are all ALIVE in the same way due to her being the singer.
