No, no, no. Katy did not copy Gaga at all. The idea for the "E.T." video was conceived before the "Born This Way" video premiered, and aside from that, what did you expect? It wouldn't make any damn sense for the "E.T." video to have lollipops and candy everywhere, with whip cream exploding from her breasts.

It was already trending because Pink Christina Rihanna, Gwen Stefani and Beyonce have all done it. But they dont let it be just what they represent. That's the key factor. One could say that The Fame was a rip off of Gwen Stefani in terms of imagery but no one is perfect and is 100% original. there's always going to be similarities.

Weird has been a trend in pop/mainstream music for a long time.
