no, obviously not this week....however, the values were just place values.

the point was that if S&M can get up to & maintain 82%'ish of ET's combined popularity bars SOME week, it would likely be #1.

At the moment it is 68%, if S&M can close in on that 14% difference (which is not THAT big of gap) between gaining and/or ET decreasing over time - it very much has a chance.

That's only between S&M and E.T. though. There are other external factors, like BEP's Just Can't Get Enough, which will likely maintain their digital power for a couple more weeks and screw Rihanna over once again. There's also HAC/AC to consider for Katy's radio updates. They don't jump on new songs quick but once they do, her overall AI starts to skyrocket, while S&M will have little room to grow when that happens, making the gap bigger. Sales aren't always the same either, they will eventually drop (though I think that works on Rihanna's advantage since radio would be more of a factor.) I'm positive S&M can achieve a higher peak than #3 at some point though, I'm just not that certain if it will hit #1.

however at this point, ET appears to be S&M's biggest and only clear potential blockade. BEP isn't really showing signs of hitting #1 at this point. Will they in a week or two? very possibly. Could S&M stall? maybe. Could ET significantly drop in sales? maybe. Could a new release pop up this tuesday and become a #1 debut? maybe.

ET will definitely be #1 next week. I think BTW isnt really a threat for S&M anymore since she's gaining a lead in sales and catching up drastically in airplay.

If anything, S&M just needs to remain stable. I'm almost positive that ET will start to decline in sales within the next couple weeks.

S&M just needs a performance more than anything, but this is really becoming redundant so I'm not going to discuss S&M's chances of going #1 again.

Call me crazy, but reading this post makes me think you dont want SM hitting #1. Anything is possible sweetie, and we will see what promo and what IDJ strategy will be in the next couple of weeks.
