You were expecting to much, purposefully knowing that it wouldn't succeed in order to justify your opinion that "Born this Way" isn't a good song.

No one (from the start anyway or even 5 weeks in) would expect a song like "Born this Way" to break a record like "I Gotta Feeling's", unless you were trying to belittle its massive success.
