I was at the Wachovia on the 15th It was fantastic! She wore a Phillies cap throughout the entire show. She said something funny actually:

"I have to take this hat off now, it's messing up my wig. Haha, you'd all go home and say 'The show was great but that bitch's weave was messed up!'"

Liza Minnelli Praises 'Phenomenal' Lady Gaga

Iconic singing legend Liza Minnelli is eager to work with Lady Gaga, after she was blown about by singer's "phenomenal" performance this week.

Lady Gaga invited the Cabaret star to her Madison Square Garden gigi in New York, and insisted on meeting her backstage before the show.

Liza even received a special shout out from Gaga during the show, with the 'Born This Way' singer telling fans she would never lip sync, "not with Liza watching".

And now Liza is a big fan, saying, "She was wonderful. She asked me to come backstage before the show, which I thought was phenomenal. Well I wobbled back on my new knee, but she was wonderful and she told me that I was her idol and I felt like saying, 'You're kidding!'

"But also she's outrageous, she's very sexy and she can sing. There's no kidding around. There's a section that she does just at the piano and that voice is right on. It's at pitch, it's strong."

And Liza revealed she would jump at the chance to work with Lady Gaga, after recording with other modern acts like the Pet Shop Boys and My Chemical Romance.
