I'd say the hardest part is memorizing which nouns are masculine and which are feminine. You know, the whole el vs. la thing. Verb conjugations are difficult for irregular verbs, too. Such as "ir." "Voy," "vas," "va," "vamos," and "van" are the conjugated forms of "ir" if I remember correctly. Whereas "escribir," which is a regular "ir" verb, is easy to conjugate because it is regular. "Escribo," "escribes," "escribe," "esribimos," and "escriben" are the correct conjugations for that word, if I remember correctly.
But I love learning more about my culture and everything so it's fun.

y usar por y para son mas dificil por un anglohablante. En Inglés no tiene palabras para expresar las ideas de esa manera entonces es dificil por nosotros. Having two ways to say like you did something in the past or having a special way to hope for something is kinda hard to understand sometimes..and how fast someone is speaking is hard. Mexicans and Costa Ricans are pretty easy to understand but Dominicans and Puerto Ricans leave me 
Creo que hay un gran porcentaje de hispanos que tienen dificultad de expresarse en el foro debido a que no entienden muy bien el Ingles (no voy a decír nombres pero conozco varios) y este thread les va a servír bastante para expresarse y comunicarse mucho mas.
