That's not an "excuse" though, its the truth. And I'm not saying she NEVER has to promote, I'm saying that UP UNTIL THIS POINT (since the single dropped) she hasn't needed to. Her name alone made the song break records. From britney's standpoint, its like "why promote?" And if you were her, you'd think the same thing.
Look, after the video premieres, its free game.... She'll need to step up and start promoting... But until then - stop freaking out. Lol.

its because they don't have steady fanbases and they're singles would be TOAST without promotion.
