I still feel like Rockstar was released bc it was (along with Te Amo) the only song left that wasn't "depressing". I also still feel like it could have been a hit if the major stations picked it up...it was the song that turned my sis into a fan. 
I hope so! I wasn't really into CKB at first, but the bridge just slays and I had it on repeat at the time and I got into it...it's just a really nice song. People need to see this side of Rihanna..the softer side, but like I said we're in a dance/electro-pop realm right now so a ballad is pushing it.

Yess, I agree, I mean RATED R didn't offer but really ONE HIT, and we all know what that was!!! RATED R WAS JUST A GOOD ALBUM but wasn't commerically viable.
CKB is a side, I don't think the public has seened, and all the Taylor Swift fans that hate her, will fall in love with her. I really love CKB and the sound is just amazing. Rihanna could be successful with that style, she's just so versatile!

Rockstar101 was epic. The guitar playing during the performances. The leather costumes. The cape thing. The video. The swagg. The instrumental.
Rockstar101 could have been a hit. You guys saw what it did with the Nikkita promo. Imagine if Rihanna had promoted it. It would have been a top 10 hit and you guys cannot deny this.

It would've been a hit, yess but I mean it " needed " promo. It was one of those songs that you'd have to really like it. It was sorta annoying at times, but that's what made it catchy. Songs like Umbrella, CKB, Man Down, it easy on the ears and you hear it one or two times and you know whether or not you'd like it or not.

Yeah. Hopefully she can pull it off live too...I'm not shading her, but we all know she can be a hit or miss with live performances (although it's been all good as of late). I also think the live performance is gonna be a big factor with this song bc I can see this song doing well on the adult stations and they prefer acts that can actually sing (my mother is already becoming a Bruno Mars fan just by seeing him perform).

YESSS!!!!! I must say, this song will flop if she sucks LIVE but I think she will either try and sing the song in the Key it's in but If she sang it a key lower OMG, Whitney MOVE OVERRR (kidding) but I mean she will KILL IT LIVE!!!!
