I can understand how hard that is for you to go through. You seem like you'd be a fantastic friend offline so I'm sure they'll be nothing but supportive. There will inevitably be a time of great awkwardness and not knowing how to handle things after coming out, but with every great thing in life comes some sort of threshold you must overcome.
