Tinie Tempah - Disc-Overy

I hated Pass Out and Frisky when they were released. However, when I heard Miami 2 Ibiza, I instantly fell in love. Strangely, I know love Pass Out and Frisky, and his voice has grown on me too. This is the first rap album I've ever bought, and one of 3 I bought this year. This is an extremely impressive debut, which includes collaborations from Kelly Rowland, Swedish House Mafia and Ellie Goulding, Emeli Sande and more.

Miley Cyrus - Can't Be Tamed

I can't believe this actually happened, but when Can't Be Tamed premiered, I INSTANTLY fell in love. It soared straight to the top of my Most Played. I had to have this album. So I bought it - and I was not disappointed. Miley's voice really shines through on the ballads, most notably Stay. She CAN sing, and she can sing very well. The uptempos on this album don't disappoint either.

Scissor Sisters - Night Work

Underneath the rather strange and controversial album cover is an album which will please many a pop fan. If you're a horny teenager / adult, definitely check this album out - it's crammed with sexual innuendos. For example, Skin Tight is about condoms. This album is one which you can just let it play and DANCE. The hidden gem on this album is Invisible Light, an amazing song which should have been the first single.
