 RIHANNA
She's going in the history books! This girl is only 22, and has accomplish things that her "faves" couldn't do in the time she's been given! 5 amazing studio albums, amazing sold out tours, numerous of prestigious awards, 9 #1 hits, and platinum in 30 countries WW and counting, it's safe to say, that RIHANNA will be a legend of our time! She's done so much. She's no longer a "singles" artist, or a "puppet" the girl can write songs, dance, sing, act, model, etc. She's the HOTTEST BITCH IN THE GAME! With that being said...

THAT RIHANNA REIGN JUST WON'T LET UP

She has four UK #1s. She's still arguably more popular here than in the US. Her album sales are far stronger, and her singles have performed more consistently overall.

She's definitely going 2xplatinum by the end of 2010. Could she sell another 600K in 2011?

Diamond would be 3 million copies, I can't see it happening tbh. If it gets a re-release then I can see it selling over 2 million copies, it will definitely sell more than GGGB did if it is re-released. She's more popular now than she has ever been before. Only Girl was a massive hit, it could potentially become a million-seller.

Celestia sis, u never speak lie when it comes to UK chart prediction. your and ZZmyths opinion are what i value the most when it comes to UK CHART PREDICTION

i would be more than happy if Loud can get the same commercial success as GGGB in the UK. 5 platinum is massive for a non-local artist like her.

u deserve to be a mod for your non-biased opinion.

I think LOUD will sell about

120-180K!!!!!!!

If she sells beyond 180k then I don't know what i'd do with myself!!!
she would then become the offical QUEEN of the UK!!!

either way, as long as its a good number, then i'm happy!

I don't see it happening, don't expect that much :-\

Anyways, RiRi is still going to have amazing sales for Loud and WMN this week
Loud is going to sell about 140-160k and WMN may crack 100k

Well that might be true for this era, but couldn't be said for the GGGB era. TBH, Loud has more Europe appeal than US, it doesn't have the typical Dr. Luke party-smash beat style songs, and she has more ballads and mid-tempos than Club Bangers.

While on the other hand, GGGB had huge worldwide appeal, for both the US and the UK. But then again, if Umbrella was released in 2010 it wouldn't be as much as successful.

 WOW...

Matt is not holding well AT ALL on UK iTunes.

How does this compare to last year's song? What about Alexandra's?

Well....I don't know that I could say that Loud has more "ballads". It has CKB, and Complicated MAYYYBE. I just think that what benefited GGGB the most was its lead single which was a mega smasha, and the fact that a lot of the songs (Lemme Get That, Rehab, ect) had much more urban appeal. But then again, we all know that doesn't sell records a lot. But I have a lot of faith in Loud. Compared to GGGB, I like the album as a whole much, much more.

Love the Way You Lie Part II, Skin, California King Bed, Fading are all considered "ballads" compared to other songs in Loud.

What's My Name, Complicated, Man Down and Cheers are mid-tempo.

Raining Men, Only Girl and S&M are up-tempo.
