People in general, fans are not, are hungry for more Gaga. let's not forget she hasn't made a public appearance since probably American Idol in May. Except for the VMAs, of course. There is nothing out from her, not an itnerview, not a leaked track, not a video. She's just touring her ass off. Little monsters are obviously obsessed with the release date, but a lot of my friends who don't really care about her have been asking if she's disappeared or if she flopped or died. Her absence is palpable.

She really has disappeared in 2010, even though there's still some people saying she's overexposed....she basically did nothing but tour this year. Beyonce and her mother have had more television appearances than Gaga this year and she's supposed to be on break.

Gaga needs to come back to the scene next year in a big way.

She performed on a few TV shows + did interviews.

She swept the VMAs.

She covered Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone and Time.

She made headlines for her antics.

She was definitely around in 2010.

Well I'm not saying she was in hiding, but 2010 was nothing compared to what she did in 2009 in terms of appearances, candids, performances and photo shoots.

Personally I don't think she's hyping it at all. We know it because we're huge fans and watch her Monster Ball videos, but she has never given an itnerview or stated a public appearance saying it's the best thing in the world. Much unlike Floptina, who spent almost one year hyping the producers and contributors she lined up for Floptonic, Gaga seems to be an innate player in the music industry. She will own 2011. Just watch.
