Yea, it's a 'mid-tempo' ballad. If it were only a mid-tempo song, I'd feel it'd be much faster. Along the lines of something like "Early Mornin'", as the rest of instrumental gives it a mid-tempo/uppity feel. "Unusual You" has a mid-tempo beat, but its instrumentals include a piano, and soft synths. Plus the covers on youtube with just piano One of her best ballads.

i WILL NEVER get over the fact the EPIC unusual you never was released as a single. people said it wuda been a flop, but who the eff cares, it wuda been amazing to show people, she has amazing songs, with beatiful lyrics, not only bout parties and sex. AMZING SONG AND ONE OF HER BEST EVER.
