Namie had to postpone one of her concerts due to chorditis and was given doctor's orders to rest. Looks like her extensive touring is finally getting to her.

This most likely means once the tour ends in December she'll take a much deserved break which means no new music for awhile

Her health does come first though ... get well soon queen

Yupp I heard about that. I've also heard that her voice has declined a lot lately and that the ballads were unlistenable at points. Hopefully she gets well soon. She should take a break after she's done touring and a release a new album sometime in late 2011/early 2012.

Well that's to be expected if she has chorditis

& to answer your question Newt, the 'PAST<FUTURE' tour started in April and has been on-going ever since.
The thing is the 'BEST FICTION' tour wrapped July of last year so she pratically rushed into the P<F tour. She loves to tour but she should really take it easy.

& I pray it doesn't have anything to do with cancer

Don't worry so much about the cancer thing. Even if by some slim chance she does have it, the medical field has grown a lot over the years.

Utada actually had an ovarian tumor that was believed to be cancer just before the release of Deep River. She made it out fine and there hasn't been a single shred of news of her having a relapse
