What's the problem with Ke$ha's numbers? You make it sound like OOTB is 4 million copies away. It's only 800k - in one year time Animal would have that covered, and since she's re-releasing it, she has it on lock. That's the albums, as for the singles, Take It Off is still charting, she's probably going to be past 11.5 million records by the very end of the Animal era. Let's not forget that Ke$ha didn't even do half of the promotion Katy did for OOTB.

True, but Roman asked who was better sales-wise, and as of now, Katy is.
Ke$ha will definitely pass OOTB in sales though, no doubt.

That's true, but considering that this poster is about who is relevant in 2010 and moving into 2011...I don't think it's that ridiculous to suggest Kesha belongs on the list just as much as Katy

It seems very unreal though, since the UWC has OOTB on 2.8M and they're pretty accurate most of time.

Strange. I read on some website that OOTB's sale WW is 5mil. Even Capitol posted it on a article about Katy months ago, but I couldn'f find it now.
FYI, Katy is a much bigger WW star than Kesha. IKAG topped like, 30+ countries, not to mention Hot n Cold

Bey, GaGa, and Brit are the only ones who are really in competetion here.
Gaga will likely sell the most but Brit and Bey will still have multiplatinum albums and #1 singles. Brit will have the most successful tour for the amount of dates available .
Overall. Bey and Brit will seal their legend statuses with this era.

It didn't. It shipped 3 million worldwide, 2.8 million of them officially sold.
