Racist comments (or again, sexist, homophobic, other kinds of historically awful discrimination in comments) reflect the opinion of the individual who said them and it makes that individual person look terrible. It should be ridiculously clear that ATRL as a whole does not condone, endorse, or agree with those comments.
Comments written in text are opinionated and individualized by nature and belong to the person who said them. I actually don't see any comparison whatsoever between that and the NSFW images posted in this Random Thoughts thread.
P.S. Non-****ographic nudity is still considered an NSFW image. Nudity is the key word here, not ****ography.
