It's been a while since they had a DJ/dance music artist do that, though. The last one I can think of was Moby back in 1999.

Definitely going to be one of the worst VMAs.

They need to add Gaga, Britney, and Rihanna to the set list.

It's been getting worse every year since 2003, the only thing that saved it last year was the MJ tribute.

What can Rihanna do to save a show? she just stands there, takes a little walk on stage and bobs her head occasionally as she finds her way there her song.

I think a Katy Perry performance could be the only realistic way to save the show at this point, and even that wouldn't stand out enough to be famous, let alone iconic, unless she really got creative ahead of time.
