It's because Jive didn't let Clear Channel sponsor her "Dream Within A Dream" Tour, apparently. Pure madness.

There is no way "I'm A Slave 4 U" would have underperformed anytime past mid-2002. But everybody knew about this song and the Britney album still sold over 5 million albums in the U.S. anyway.
