That's the problem. There are only a handful of today's chart-toppers who are extremely talented, vocally or music wise. Beyonce is one of them.

The best chance you have at finding those is at Adult Contemporary, but even then, those stations give a significant amount of time to recurrents when Celine/Whitney/Mariah were in their prime.

Electro-pop simply represents the zeitgeist of our era.

A retro thought to bring any previous era back would be very unlikely..
unless ballads evolve in some way or another.

there's nothing i could think of though.
Recent hiphop comebacks are decent but not surprisingly evolving, yet i'm looking forward to kanye.
