No clue to be honest... but hopefully soon, too many people have jumped on the bandwagon and stomped it into the ground.
I want to see a resurgence of mainstream alt/rock. I think Shinedown, Kings of Leon, and, more recently, Neon Trees have done a nice job blending all the elements of rock while using massive choruses to attract the pop audience. Let's see some more of that.
I hope dance inspired pop music is the genre of choice for a long time to come, but the next craze on the horizon is obviously dark vampire electro **** pop music.
I hate electropop. It's ok for a diversion but to dominate in a certain span of time is just no! I want "real" music, music that has depth lyrically and substance, music that can move and touch you. That's why i never like this electropop thing and Lady Gaga in particularl. Lol
