I honestly don't think You Lost Me is dead yet. It's summertime and no one want to hear a ballad like that at the moment. Give it till at least late September to see if it's wrap for the song. In the meantime, I think Burlesque will do wonders for Christina's image and neutralize all the terrible press she's gotten the last few months.

I hope so too. The haters are in full force right now (like REALLY), and I checked that in every site that mentioned this new trailer. I hope the negativity does go away.

I know the movie will not be a masterpiece by anymeans, all it takes is a good performance by her, that can and hopefully will surprise people. This movie seems to be like one of those feel-good type of movies, to not take it seriously and just enjoy the ride. I hope it does well and thankfully, I think the cast will help too.

I am so conflicted.
On the one hand...
— It stars Stanley Tucci and Kristen Bell.

— There looks to be a love story with Eric Dane.
On the other...
— There looks to be a (cliched) love story with Eric Dane.
— The plot = generic, generic, generic.
— And, there is cliche, after cliche, after cliche. As the New York Daily News points out, how do we know she's from a small town? The trademark heavy bangs and little makeup, of course.
— It looks scarily like another Glitter or Crossroads, aka, two of the worst movies ever made, which coincidentally also starred pop divas.
— There are lines like this, from CHER (of all people): "When you are putting on makeup it's like you're an artist, but instead of painting a canvas you're painting a face."
— It stars Christina Aguilera who is so not hot right now. In her desperate attempt at a comeback album she ripped off Lady Gaga and now this? Oiy. Might be time to sail off into the married-with-baby-I'm-already-a-millionaire-sunset.
