Video Phone was a beautiful video. It did its job as a music video, not a damn movie, bring life to the song with beautiful visuals. It's not a drastic change to what Bey usually does & was not commercially successful but in no way, it takes away the fact that it was a beautiful, colorful, fun & sexy video. Stop with the BS. Yes, I agree, I wasnt expecting to see it that much nominated but it wasnt bad at all to me. If MTV wanted to nominate a Beyoncé video, Why Dont You Love Me was one of her best videos. SMH. Also, they did Rihanna wrong, Rude Boy was beautiful & successful, why ignoring it? Kelis had two of the best videos this year with Acapella & 4th of July. Janelle Monae's was so creative. Britney could have been nominated with 3. Ciara didnt even get 'Best choreography'? Unthinkable Im ready was great. Window Seat by Badu was powerful & risky. Did yall see Gnarls Barkley latest? Where is R&B? MTV only care about mainstream & rating & it's unfortunate, not about the quality of the videos themselves. I love Gaga but it looks like they dedicated the whole show to her. I predict Gaga, Eminem, Jay-z & Beyoncé big winners. Kesha & Katy will have some. They will try not to give everything to Gaga just like they did for Beyoncé last year. SMH.
