Assuming that Lady Gaga told us the truth about the fact that she would release the album title on 01/01/2011..I don't see that happen

+ Then they have to release the first single somewhere near September/October which means the radio and the 'normal people' barely get a break from her music..

I also thought that, but she needs a break from radio, seriously. She will be able to have huge first week even without holidays. 1 million is very unrealistic but 500-700k is possible with a great 1st single. Lady Gaga is already one of the most respected musicians in the business and people will buy the album for sure. She's that type of artists whose album you know is good.

I'm glad she did. It made me appreciate the song a lot more. I used to skip over it from Bad Romance to Monster but it grew on me a lot when I heard it was a single.
