It doesn't. I guess I misinterpreted his post into stating that it wasn't Jon's song originally. I honestly don't know if he did write the song solely, co-wrote, or not at all. I do know, however, that his name is usually included amongst the log of songwriters.

I think he wrote it with The Dream but since he's probably innocent to the music industry he didn't look into getting credit.

Exactly. As soon as I heard that demo I knew it wasn't something Bey would actually use. I like it but it would really be too much of a "Halo" knock-off. I think her mind is already set on going a little more left anyway, she did say that she was interested in making an indie album so it will probably be a little more experimental but like you said, it's hard to really predict.
