Honestly, If the title was indeed Summer Starts Now, It would be cool. Atleast, cooler than Teenage Dream. Or, Summer Dreams
The late-release is a strategic move, they are probably checking the single performance. If It'll do really well, I'm pretty sure they'll release it earlier before the hype dies down.
Though, I honestly think the word "Summer" shouldn't be in the title at all since the album's going to be released just one month before the summer ends so...

Katy Perry has revealed that she plans to preview album teasers before the official release of her LP, Teenage Dream.
Perry, who premiered the video for her latest single California Gurls last week claims fans will be able to hear more material, including the next single before it's available.
The Hot N Cold hit maker told KSS-FM: "We will have another single out really soon. Before the album comes out, I think a lot people will be hearing a lot of different songs…"
She continued: "It won't just be one song to tide you over until then because it seems a little far away for me actually. I mean the whole world could explode before then."
Katy who is set to wed funny man Russell Brand later this year also admitted that she is surprised how quickly the release of her second LP came around, stating: "I didn't think it would happen so quick - I was getting used to nine hours of sleep and maybe eating stuff I shouldn't be eating."
"But they woke me up and said, 'It's time to be a popstar again' - I said this is never going to stop until I die in 2012."
The singer added: "This record will probably hopefully take me on a fantastic tour and two years later I'll be ready to start a new one - there are already plans for tour dates."
