Agreed, if she wanted to make a move like Bionic it shouldve came about in 2006 and she shouldve saved the 'B2B' era for now to show her maturity. This album is like a step back in her career.

If this album came about in 2006, it wouldve been far more successful, it wouldve been something new and fresh i mean the album is still terrible but still it wouldve been a bigger hit because of its diversity. She waited until people such as Gaga came around to release this album, and it wasnt to smart of a choice

I honestly think it was just destined for her to flop. It doesn't matter if she would have came out with a strong meaningful album. That would have flopped too. The state of music is terrible and really it was either this or an album full of ballads. I don't know where Christina fits in all of this madness and it really sad because she's an amazing singer but honestly she never really held a stable spot in pop music. She should have never took a 4 year break because she has been completely replaced. Not just by Gaga but a lot of people have replaced Christina in a lot of ways. Even the little things she used to do and stand for are currently being used by many. To sum all of that up into one. She is just not needed in music right now. And really to carry on with songs like WooHoo and Not Myself Tonight would be ridiculous but she is a strong girl and I doubt she'll give up this easily.
