By legal standard as shown here in the clip, gays are supposedly be treated or respected equally. Judge Judy is definitely a very just person, she shows no disrespect or unfair treatment to them compared to any other couple. I do say that there are laws forbidding gays to do a lot of things. Many times I see in society at large treated homosexuals unequally. All the name callings, and stereotypes will never die.
I don't mean Judge Judy herself, but the show. And the show as a reflection of the media. I just think the representation of homosexuality in the media is still very narrow and still plays off a lot of stereotypes.
Well, it looks my time has come to a close. I want to thank all the viewers and participants of "Judge Judy" over the past couple of days, specifically users like akrl, amandatheafter, pedro, KT$T, popboi, Marnie and many more who kept the discussion going. Your input has been invaluable, and sometimes fascinating. It would be great to keep this going in another form someday. Of course, if you ever want to talk about any of that stuff, I'll still be here...
And now I leave with you is supposedly "the best Judge Judy ending EVER." (I think those two women might even be talking about ATRL's own Oprah and Jerry Springer.)
