It's the first single from the mini-album so it's a lead single, no matter what it's called in Korea. Just because it didn't come out before the mini-album came out doesn't mean it's not a lead single (eg Drunk in Love and XO are considered lead singles of Beyoncé).
Not surprised though. And barely 100M views isn't exactly "slaying" for a lead single
