They're not even trying to hide that they're actually deplorable but they get triggered if you call them out for that (which, again, Meryl never did)
It has nothing to do with class or the elites. This is about commoners wanting to be terrible people without being called out for it.
Meryl deserves best actress for Florence Foster Jenkins. Or Maybe she's my second choice so far after Amy (have yet to see Manchester By The Sea, La La Land or Jackie tho)
