As someone mentioned Ann Culter still has books, TV appearneces and she has said some of the worst things. One of her most famous lines is that women shouldn't have the right to vote.

But with that being said, Kim being black shouldn't give her a pass. She can use Christianity all she wants as a receipt for what she said, but the thing is the Bible says love thy neighbor. Not love thy neighbor unless they're gay, and that is the agenda many Christians try to push on everyone. ESPECIALLY in black churches.

My only issue with this thread is the following:

1. There are people in this thread celebrating the downfall of this woman's career over some homophobic comments. Yet in every race thread they act like racisim ended in the 50s and all race things are overblown. Well pot meet kettle.

2. There are also people who are in this thread that throw the SJW wotd around but are praising this. Welcome to the land of being a SJW you dumb *****.

In this case they are doing the most. This was legitimately came from a church sermon thay was not even supposed to be public. Why dont yall take a page from your own book and not attack the people who arent oppressing you and go after the onea who do. If you guys have "so much power" actually use it on people hurting your cause. Because last I checked, all this woman did to yall was go to a church to preach, and then made a stupid youtube video.

Thank You for clearing that up. Comparisons to Ann Coulter and Milo are on one hand superficial. Their careers are based off feeding the far right, they don't say some racist **** and then try and book a slot on Oprah. Otherwise their fate would be the same as Kim's.

On the other hand the comparison is very apt because Kim's career is not "cancelled". She will have no problem doing future sermons even if she continues to call gays perverted. Many churches would embrace her and there would be opportunity for her to exploit homophobia in Christianity and monetise the backlash.

But gigs like Ellen (a lesbian) and a ABC radio show (a PG, fairly liberal station), Nah, no chance.

Are we supposed to embrace her and her ignorance? We need to show the world that it's not okay to bash other people in the name of religion or "personal opinions". This type of thinking is outdated.

Free speech apologists and defenders completely miss the point of the amendment. You can say whatever you want, within a certain sphere, without the threat of being detained by the government for doing so. THAT is what it is for. It's not to protect you from criticism from the public. It's not to help you keep your job. It's to help protect you from the government trying to hold you legally accountable, unless you're threatening to kill or harm someone. Stop using "but freedom of speech!", not knowing its purpose.
