I like his formula with the albums, but the singles formula is an embarrassing mess. A massive album doesn't equate to a single which flopped upon release suddenly being massive.

I'm doing a project -- 100 Biggest Single Eras All-Time. Measuring the 100 albums with the biggest single eras on Hot 100.
It's interesting seeing the main Pop Girls hit single eras ranked One Pop Girl with terrible Hot 100 history didn't even make it ofcourse

But mess @ all those singles slaying and her album only being 7x Platinum.

He multiples Spotify streams by x2.2 because that's how many people are subscribed to streaming services overall (Spotify's subscriber base x2.2).
However he doesn't realize over half of Spotify's userbase aren't subscribers and use it for free, so it's not an accurate multiplier.
Also lots of services with millions of paid subscribers are in like Russia, Asia, or Africa, that come with mobile providers and don't even really have Western music. So he's adding streams for services in which the music aren't even on.
So he's kinda only good for updated album sales.
