^ I know that he isn't really involved with the lyrics but I still imagine him as a man who pushes his ideas. I also said that all of her co-writers talked about Taylor writing like 80-100% of the lyrics and most of the melody but something definitely changed. With 1989 it was probably a combination of working with other people, writing over tracks and writing pure pop songs which was kind of a new genre for her.!
omg I've never heard about that. Just looked it up. Ironically when I read your post I was already correcting it in my head. That's a good example.

"I fought [co-producer Max Martin] on it the whole time," Grande tells Time magazine. "'I am not going to sing a grammatically incorrect lyric, help me God!' Max was like, 'It's funny -- just do it!'
In "Break Free," Grande sings, "Now that I've become who I really are" as well as, "I only wanna die alive," both of which make little sense.
But after some back and forth, Grande learned an ironclad rule in the pop music world: You don't win a fight against Max Martin.
I want Taylor to go back to her country Pop roots and write more by herself. While 1989 had BOPS and was her most consistent album sonically wise. It just didn't felt as personal to me like her other albums with songs like dear john, All too well, mine. Outside of Out of the woods and maybe how you get the girl i felt like it didn't really tell many stories. Most of the songs imo were strucutred to be catchy raido friendly hits. But seeing as max martin excutive produced it, it's to be expected. This is just my opinion so don't @ me

I just want her to return to her iconic songwriting that she was known for in country. not country songs per say.
Wait a second, Taylor is 27 now, hope she isn't part of the 27 club

He's referring to this (e.g. Amy Winehouse, Kurt Cobain, Janis Joplin)

The 27 Club is a term that refers to the belief that an unusually high number of popular musicians and other artists have died at age 27,[1] often as a result of drug and alcohol abuse, or violent means such as homicide or suicide.
I thought that she might be
But didnt Amy show many signs before?
I thought Taylor would have major breakdown post Kim-Kanye, Calvin stuffs, yet she survives
I think most ppl in music industry will struggle, but Taylor hasnt showed any suspicious case which reminds me of Beyonce. Probably she's the handler, and Selena is the slave because Selena is the one who keeps having breakdown
(I read it in some illuminati conspiracy thread, just ignore me for ppl who are not interested in it, I know it's a lil bit crazy)
^ Well, the "secret" is staying away from drugs. All those celebs who struggle are usually addicts. Especially younger artists who get dragged into it from the start.
It also helps that she has very supportive family and friends.
Do you remember the little girl who posted a picture from February with Taylor a few weeks ago? It was for a commercial but she didn't say for what company.
She posted again on Taylor's birthday and tagged it with #apple #wildestdreams. So it was most likely another Apple commercial featuring Wildest Dreams. I wonder when we'll get to see it though.
