No it literally is a job. She signs a contract and gets paid. She informed them a month ago that she was leaving. Most jobs only require two weeks so she was generous. This was the end of the era anyway, the tour is done, no more singles were planned, performances were over. They can now plan the third album, which had not even entered the A&R/writing stage, as a foursome.
Camila had been recording her debut album since the summer. They knew this, the industry knew this. Hence them begging her to stay, because they knew she was going to leave.
