Why is it so easy to sway

voters and get them to vote wrong? In 2000, it was the personality police. In 2004, it was the Swift Boat Vets. In 2016, it was Comey/wikileaks/Benghazi hearings.
It's always so easy to get Americans focused on a candidate rather than the policies and that's never ended up well and Americans still refuse to learn from their mistakes. So, yes, Americans are stupid.

If the President is impeached or assassinated then the Vice President steps up to be Pres.
This is the line of order that would be followed. President, then VP, Speaker of the House, and so on and so forth.
Also, sorry Trumpkins, Trump was involved with this mess. He LITERALLY stood on stage at a rally, on the campaign trail and called for Russia to hack Hillary Clinton's server and find any evidence against her. And then, suddenly, the DNC was starting to get leaks posted on Wikileaks. He was entirely connected and he needs to be investigated for treason.
I know you all want a safe space to act as if Trump is acceptable and couldn't possibly be involved, and if he was, it still isn't a big deal. But just, for a second, imagine if Hillary Clinton stood on stage and asked Russia or some other foreign government to hack into Trump's private digital accounts to try to find his tax returns. You all would drag her through the pits (and rightfully so). That response shouldn't change because he's a Republican.
But what if it gets proved that ticket/campaign ie: the President-elect and and VP-elect were involved
I feel like that would take years to prove but if BOTH the president and VP were proven to have been involved in this then I think Speaker of the House is next in line for the presidency.
The leaks aren't what cost Hillary the election tho.
She campaigned against coal, against rural Americans.
Not to mention her emails and Benghazi.
It's not fair and I would love for Hillary to be president instead of Trump but I will not be foolish and say that it's all Russia's fault. That's ignorant

You guys, theyre not saying Russia rigged or changes the vote.
They are saying Russia helped because they leaked all that mess about Hillary... so in turn, people didnt vote for her because her truths were exposed.
No matter the outcome this is going to impact our country for a long time. The veracity of our voting system (our very foundation) is now called in to question.
